Canvassing

August 22, 2010 11 comments

Get the word out!

Comment here to let others know what you are doing to get the world out. Whether talking to people at the courthouse, putting flyers on vehicles at the court parking lot or grocery store or home depot, let us know what you have been doing and where. This will also help make sure that we don’t canvass the same area over and over when we could better coordinate efforts. Thank you for all you are doing!

What can I do?

So, you’ve read about the newly proposed Arizona Child Support Guidelines and you want to know what you can do to help stop this policy. ¬†Here are a few suggestions:

1) Learn as much as possible about the newly proposed guidelines by pointing your browser to http://www.supreme.state.az.us/CSGRC/

2) Try out the COBS Calculator on that site and find out what you might be paying in support next year.

3) Share your story, tell us what you are paying now vs. what the new calculator spits out.

4) Call or e-mail your legislators.

5) Call or write the Arizona State Supreme Court Justices

6) Volunteer your time to help our efforts.

7) Donate money to this effort so that we can roll back this policy before it becomes the law of the land.
